I looked down at my schedule. I had Charms first. I always had Charms first. I hated Charms. I hated almost every class. But Charms... And it was worse. Sirius was going to be at Transfiguration first. At least Remus was there. I ran my fingers through my hair. No one was even up. I was the first! Not even Moony was and he always is. I jammed my glasses onto my face and got up. Cursing, I threw Sirus's broomstick across the room. I did not need to trip over his rubbish at six in the morning. Getting my wand from my bedside table I 'swished and flicked'
"Wingardium Leviosa." The only useful charm. Srius's ankle flew up into the air and his eye shot open.
"Mornin' Sleeping Beauty." Sirius glared at me.
"Let me down, James!" I smiled, raised him higher and released. He fell onto his bed with a flop. Sure we loved playing pranks but Sirius hated when I played a prank on him. It was because it reminded him that I was so much better at playing pranks then him. Or at least that's how I interpreted it. He got dressed because he was awake anyway.
"Where's Moony and Wormy?" I motioned towards their beds. Sirius looked at me in disbelieve.
"You were the first one awake?" he asked.
"And you were the second." Sirius clutched his heart.
"Nooooo!"
"You thinking what I'm thinking." I asked him. He nodded and pulled out his wand. We sneaked over to Remus's bed. "1," I whispered. "2, 3, Aguamanti!" we said at the same time. Water poured onto Remus's face. Too much. He awoke and spit water out of his mouth.
"Sirius, James!" Maybe it was good that I had Charms first. I was dressed and Flitwick hated when you were late.
"Have to go to class! Don't want to be late!" I said, running out the door.
