Just a little Cath/Levi oneshot after they both graduate college. Hope you like it! Please review if you do! Constructive criticism is welcome as well!
Cath awoke suddenly in bed. She turned her head slightly, hoping to catch a glimpse of the glaring, green numbers from her alarm clock. 4:00 AM. She sighed, then she noticed an unfamiliar weight on her bed that had wrapped itself loosely around her. She panicked for a moment, and then remembered. She and Levi had finally gotten married the night before. After realizing the weight was Levi, she sighed again, this time in content. They had waited for so long, but Levi had wanted to pay off some of his student debt and start getting used to taking care of the ranch so he could provide for Cath and so they could lead a more comfortable life together without constantly trying to make ends meet. She quickly looked over at her dresser, if to reassure herself that the wedding had actually happened. Just as she expected, two silver rings, one plain and one with a small diamond inlaid in the center, twinkled dully in the darkness of the room. Then all of the memories of the previous night came rushing back to her. The wedding had been perfect. Not too big or expensive, only a few close friends and family members had been invited. Her father had given her away just like she always dreamed and had Levi looked so handsome in a suit and, to top it all off, Wren had placed two tiny figurines of Simon and Baz on their wedding cake. Her mind came back to her problem of the present, trying to get back to sleep. She wriggled a little trying to get more comfortable. Her movements must have disturbed her partner because she soon felt his hot breath tickle her ear as he softly asked if everything was okay. She murmured something unintelligible and then responded by turning over and giving him a quick peck on the lips. Then she turned back over and he tightened his grip around her waist. He kissed her neck a few times and then snuggled closer to her. Feeling calm and warm again, Cath closed her eyes and melted away into her lover's embrace, causing her to almost immediately fall back asleep. She could get used to falling asleep everynight like this. Safe, warm, and happy with Levi.
