A/N: This will be a Draco/Ginny story. I think those two are meant to be together. I'd really appreciate it if you reviewed. Thanks. Oh and this is my first fanfic so hopefully it'll be good.

Disclaimer: I obviously don't own any of this except the plot. Everything else belongs to J.K. Rowling who is a literary genius. I wish I could write as well as she can because she is amazing.

For The Love Of A Princess

"No! I will not take your place. I don't want to be anything like you." Draco screamed. His father slowly advanced towards him, his face slowly getting redder and redder and his eyes practically bulging out of his head.

"Say that again Draco, I dare you too." His father sneered.

"I never want to end up like you. I hate you." Draco said. And he meant it. He had never agreed with what his father did or taught him. He had known early on he didn't want to become a Death-Eater. Voldemort made him sick. Anyone who hurt those weaker then themselves to gain power did. If you wanted to hurt someone, do it to someone who could fight you back. When he was younger, he had been too weak to fight his father back. He had gone along with his father's teachings then, pretendind to hate Muggles and Muggle-lovers and Mudbloods. He did it because he knew his father had him watched while he was at Hogwarts, making sure he followed orders. If he didn't, Draco was sure to expect a beating when he got home. But, now he was strong. Draco was fed up with his father's teachings. He had hit him one too many times. Draco had to get out. He knew if he didn't now, he might never be able too.

"You are no longer my son! Get out of this house and never, ever let me see your face again." Lucius said through clenched teeth.

"Gladly" Draco replied as he turned and walked out of the room.

"Oh, and Draco?" Lucius called after him. "You will be sorry. The Dark Lord will get his revenge on you for not joining him."

Draco turned and ran, ran with all the power he had in him. He needed to get out of Malfoy Manor. Now. The walls were closing in on him as he ran, fighting to get out. Fighting to rid himself of his "father" and his childhood. Things were going to be different now.

I'm just going to try posting this for now and see what the reviews say. I have the first chapter started and will post it as soon as I see what people think. Thanks for reading/reviewing.
