Moonlight pooled into the clearing, illuminating two figures, one quivering in fear as the other's red rings glowed menacingly. On the ground laid a shaking Mightyena, with endless pleas for mercy flowing from his muzzle as the Umbreon above him merely tilted her head in confusion.
"What's wrong, Smile?" she asked sweetly, bending her head down so they were eye to eye. "You said you were tired of all of them teasing you about your petty little flaws. I'm only here to help you, dear!"
"R-Rebel, leave me a-alone!" Smile stuttered weakly, only making her give a short bark of laughter.
"Only after I fix you up~!" she chirped, placing a hand on his head. "You helped me when I was weak, now it's my turn to return the favor. Now, let's see . . . Oh! We need to remove all your flaws!" With unsheathed claws, she slashed at his eyes, making him reel back in pain and howl miserably, only to have his muzzle torn at.
"Oh dear, you're making such a fuss over a simple do-over. Be a big boy and suck it up." she spat, watching the waterfall of crimson pour through his destroyed eyes and drip to the forest floor. She flopped down and licked her paw free of any blood or fur as the blinded Mightyena staggered about, trying to unclog his vision.
"Y-You monster!" he shouted, making her ears flick upward. She tutted as she strode forward towards him before knocking himonto the ground and settling on his chest.
"What a tounge you have, calling me a monster," she scolded, forcing the thrashing hyena Pokemon's mouth open. "I'll get rid of that too." She darted forward, clamping onto the muscle and jerking back, a delicious ripping sound joining the cacaphony of chaotic howls. The Dark-type spat out the offending appendage to the side, watching Smile thrash beneath her, choking on the new flow of blood flowing down his throat.
"Shh, shush Smile," she cooed, using a paw to clamp his mouth shut. "You're all fixed up. No need to be afraid."
Eventually, the heavy flailing died down until he laid limp beneath Rebel, who merely gave him a quick smile and an affectionate lick to his bloodstained cheek.
"There. You're perfect now." With those last words, she flitted away from the moonlight's accusing glow and into the inky darkness, the rings on her body dying down to a crimson red.
