Chapter 1
Heart beating to a crescendo as another heavy passionate kiss is laid on my lips, we shouldn't even be doing this,she knows she'll give me a heart attack or be cause of my death. But none of that matters now,a whole world disappearing in a blur as angsty teen love takes over every sense of our being. Brown tangled curls run through my fingers as she pulls herself on top of me and pulls in for another sultry kiss,this one lasting for more than just half a second before she rises for air,fire shining in her earthy green eyes,"E,are you ok,you look pale,maybe we should stop"she says breathily,"No L,it's fine,I'm fine,let's go"I say completely out of breath. Running her fingers through my hair she rolls over to the other side of her bed,pulling up the covers over us. Until now,I haven't realized I was shivering,sweat rolling down my shoulders and onto the back of my grey shirt.
Reaching up her cold hand makes contact with my hot forehead, "Ethan,you're running a fever,you're heart's racing,did I do this to you"she says to me, "No Lena,it's not you"I say to her,glaring at me I can tell she knows I'm lying, "fine,our kissing probably had something to do with it,I need to get home"I tell her guitily. "no you're not going home,not by yourself, I'm going to call Amma,"she says,getting up off of the bed,she looks so beautiful right now. Brown hair tangled in curls,mascara running down her cheek,t shirt and jeans fitting just right. She comes back at some point and crawls back in bed with me, I feel her hand against my chest, "E, you ok"she asks quietly, "yeah,better now that we've stopped, is she coming"I say, "yeah, she'll be here shortly, as far as she knows we were studying and you got ill"she says, "ok"i say. Time passes slowly as we wait for her to show up, l runs her fingers through my hair and intertwines her hand in mine. I can tell she's worried but she really shouldn't be, I'll be ok,just like always. The doorbell rings and Lena helps me get up, i'm a little unsteady but somehow I'm able to walk down the stairs. She opens the door and Amma is there, she looks me up and down, then clears her throat, "lord have mercy child, you really don't look good, let's get you home"she says, "ok that sounds good"I say. After this she thanks Lena for calling her and then she takes me home. Once we pull in the driveway and stop, she sends me upstairs to get showered and into bed.
I make it to the bathroom and as soon as I do I end up being sick . Once I'm done I clean up and get showered, which is hard because I'm feeling weak from everything that has happened tonight. Then I get in bed and turn off the light. At some point Lena Kelts me asking me if I'm ok, and as tired as I am I manage to Kelt her back. After we do this for awhile I finally fall asleep dreaming about our love filled night.
