It seems that this week is the longest one ever. It may only have been four days and counting since last monday, but it feels like it's been half a month. I guess it's just because my birthday is tomorrow. I've been anticipating this for the past two months and now that it's here, it just makes me feel ecstatic. To make it better, it's the very beginning of the weekend! Thank you Saturday! By this time tomorrow i'll have turned 15 years old! All I have to do is make it through today.
"Jackson! Come down from your room, it's time for breakfast! I made your favorite!" I heard my mother call me from down stairs. "ALL RIGHT! CHOCOLATE CHIP WAFFLES!" I shouted on my way down the stairs. Reaching the last step, I almost tripped, but fortunately I was able to catch myself last second, with my face looking down, inches above smooth wooden floor. My Mom came around the corner right as i was getting myself back up, "You doing early morning push-ups this morning?" she asked with a smirk look on her face.
