It was a dark, clear night. The night seemed to be filled with small specks of color instead of stars. That was how Percy knew he wasn't looking at a real sky. He couldn't spot any of the Greek Constellations he knew. The sky lit briefly, flashing Sofia's face across the sky as a cannon was heard. She was the first "tribute" that was dead. He knew that no one in the arena was willing to fight so how exactly had she died? A long journey was ahead and Percy wasn't ready to face reality yet. Where was Annabeth? What was really happening? All he remembered was the phrase "Hunger Games".
Basically, a bunch of his half-blood friends were put into an arena and were told to fight to the finish. It didn't make any sense to him. Just this morning all 24 half- bloods were given a district and told general instructions. Some of them had mentors but Percy's District didn't have one. He was left clueless about the "Games" and nobody had decided to fill him in with details. All he had picked up were a couple of words Worst of all, Annabeth was placed in a different district and wouldn't talk to him. When the event began, all of the half- bloods just took a second to look at one other. then everyone got something from the cornucopia and went their own way. Percy looked around for Annabeth after collecting a back pack and some snacks, but she was long gone. We went towards the forest and found cover. The whole day was pretty boring. The highlight of it was Sofia dying. This occurrence had jolted Percy and made him more aware of his senses. He quickly took a scan around to see if any danger was near by. Nope all was clear. With that reassurance, Percy counted out who was in the game. Jason and Thalia Grace from District 1, Nico di Angelo and Hazel Levesque from District 2, Himself and a cyclops named Belle from District 3, Miranda Gardiner and Domique Herb from District 4, Clarisse la Rue and Frank Zhang from District 5, Annabeth and Reyna from District 6, Will Solace and Kayla from District 7, Phoebe and formerly Sofia from District 8, Leo Valdez and Nyssa from District 9, Piper McLean and Mitchell from District 10, Connor and Travis Stoll from District 11, and finally Pollux and Bob Sherman from District 12. All of them were chosen against their will. Percy then realized that he should have tried stick with another tribute. With thoughts to find an ally Percy went to bed.
"Percy! Percy! Percy!" Someone yelled. Some of the tributes had been trying to find Percy for the last 3 days. The arrived to a site and saw Percy in a badly burnt sleeping bag. When Bob Sherman pulled Percy out of the bag, the formed group saw that he was badly burnt, and looked like he hadn't eaten in days. What happened here with Percy? Suddenly...
