Chapter 1:

Yet another day goes by at school. The last bell rings, and everyone gets up, all ready to go home. Oikawa Tsurara looks up from her table, scans the classroom with her amber eyes and wonders to herself, "Rikuo-sama, where have you gone?" Looking out of the window, she realizes that her young master has left her side a long time ago, and has caught up with Kana at the entrance of school. A slight sting numbs her heart a little, as she watches the both of them holding hands and smiling to each other. A slight breeze went by, and Rikuo gently puts a scarf around Kana before pushing her auburn hair behind her ear for her.

"If Rikuo-sama was with me, he wouldn't have to be afraid of me catching a cold." She pouts to herself, weighing her chin down on her hands and rests her head on her table. "Waka's widest smiles seem to be reserved only for Ienaga-san." Tsurara sighs.

"Yuki-onna! Quit staring out of the window! Come on, let's go. Even Waka has left with the girl. There's nothing left here for us to do!" Tsurara snaps out of her monologue and glimpses at Aotabo. He promptly shoos Tsurara off her chair, stuffs her books into her tote and drags her off.

By the time the both of them arrive back at the Nura main house, it was already sunset. With the sky's reddish hue as a backdrop, the Nura house's grandeur is accentuated. The whole journey home was tense. Aotabo had been taking glances at Tsurara, her lips pursed. He knew what she was bothered about. In fact, everyone in the main house knew of Tsurara's feelings towards Rikuo. Underlying the master-aide relationship, it was apparent that the girl had paid meticulous attention towards the young master. She knew him as well as she knew the back of her hand. Everything that was meant to be served to Rikuo goes through the little snow lady first. Her keen eye for detail, her admiration for Nura's third heir and her passion for him was the impetus behind her desire for everything to be perfect for Rikuo. As she always would say, "Rikuo-sama deserves only perfection."

'You can't disguise your heart while its breaking huh…' Aotabo thought to himself.

End of chapter 1.

Okay, so I know it's a little short, but I wanted to test the waters first. Haha. I'm a huge fan of Rikutsura and writing the part where Rikuo was putting the scarf on for Kana was really bugging me.

Well, its my first narrative in a while, I have been writing academic papers for the longest time, so I hope I would be able to bounce back and write something less rigid!
