The air was palpable with the scent of vomit and alcohol. It was apparent that I needed to get out of here fast However, where was here? Looking around I noticed nothing that could answer my question. There was a hollow laugh at the other end of the ally. It sent a chill down my spine and I knew I was screwed.

My fingers automatically went to my pocket where I kept a police grade taser. Unfortunately, whatever happened before I got here left me without it. My adrenalin was running high now and I looked behind me to find a wall that smelled like urine.

"Here, here, we got us a little girl. What are ya going to do, Baby Doll?" The creep smirked, although his words were slurred.

"Play time." Another male laughed before they both lunged at me.

I managed to dodge the first one, but the second, and much larger, man fell on me. The weight crushing me. His large, clammy hands pinned my wrists over my head. I began to scream while kicking upward in hopes of hitting something. I succeeded and hit him where no-one should be kicked, excluding pedophile rapists.

The other man was lunging for me now with a feral growl on his lips. Well, he was until a long blade gleaming with freshly shed blood struck him in the chest. As the blade was removed I noticed that my savior was a purple haired vigilante, Hit-Girl. She quickly looked at the other man before slicing the other man's head in half.

"Oh, shit!"

"Are you alright?" A male voice echoed from behind me and without looking I knew it was the green and yellow side-kick, Kick-Ass.

"Yeah, thanks. Where are we?" I locked eyes with the shorter of the two.

"Just north of Manhatten. We'll get you back to the city, but that's as far as we go." Kick-Ass responded in kind. His gloved hand reached out to grab my wrist and help me stand.

"Actually, Ass, we will be taking her back to base. We have somethings that need to be cleared up."

That shocked both of us, I didn't know her. Not even a little, but I couldn't deny she felt familiar somehow. I voiced my opinion with a few choice words thrown in and before I knew it, I was knocked out and waking up in a van.

"Maya, Maya, come on. It's Riley's party, what could happen?"

Huckleberry's voice echoed in my head for a moment. My vision was foggy, but I managed to make out purple hair before slipping under again.

"Hey, come on, we don't have time for this. Wake up, bitch."

Those were the first words that I heard when I finally regained consciousness. Hit-girl was yelling at me and Kick-Ass was smirking under that stupid mask.

"I'm up! Now, what the hell is going on."

I looked her straight in the eye. Those very familiar eyes. Then it hit me. With a bit of imagination by removing the mask and giving her blond hair it was practically looking at a live reflection.

"No. Fucking. Way."

"DNA tests prove it. Looks like I have blood relatives left after all." The mask and wig were pulled off simultaneously and I was right. Blond hair.

"Say hello to your sister, well half-sister, Mindy." Kick-Ass pulled off his mask as well and I saw a rather handsome boy with dark eyes and super curly long hair.

"Shut it, Dave. Yeah, we're related, Maya."

"Woah, wait. When did you do a DNA test and how do you know my name? How old are you anyway?" I added the last one after noticing that she was clearly younger than me.

"While you were sleeping. Your ID gave it away and I'm fifteen. Dave's twenty. So you're practically in the middle at seventeen."

"Well, fuck. You're the other family my father ran off too." I looked over at my sister again, she had no visual expressions. But her eyes gave way to the fact that she felt betrayed.

My father ran off, but hers lied to her. That's got to hurt.
