Howard sighed but couldn't help the slight smile. Vince was sick and was starting to get used to all the extra attention from him. They'd been together 3 months now and yet not much had changed until Vince became ill.
"Yes,love?" Howard teased and grinned when Vince's unusually pale face was tinted with a faint pink from his blush.
"Howard, would you lay and watch telly with me?" Vince looked up with watery blue eyes Howard found it impossible to say no to.
"Alright, I imagine you'll want a cartoon then eh?" Vince just nodded and smiled a bit looking as if he could doze off at any minute.
"Alright then, I'll be back in a bit then."
They decided to watch Scooby-Doo. Vince laughing at nearly everything while Howard just shoook his head wondering how his boyfriend could stomach this.
It started getting late and Howard made Vince some soup and tea for dinner.
After they finished dinner Howard was getting ready for bet when Vince called for him again.
Vince grinned when Howard walked into his room, the color had returned to his cheeks and he felt much better.
" Howard, I just wanted to thank you for taking care of me... I love you." Howard stood as if he were glued to the floor trying to process that sentence. Vince almost began to panic but then Howard walked over and kissed him gently. "I love you too little man. I have for a long time."
They smiled at each other warmly and Howard made himself comfortable in Vince's bed. As they drifted off to sleep they both felt happier and healther than ever and Vince couldn't help the excitement that he felt over the thought of getting to be the one to take care of Howard when he got sick.
