Free birthday.
Kankuro celebrates his 20th birthday (almost) alone in an Onsen. This was one of his best ideas. He thinks.
This was one of his best ideas of the year. Birthday celebrating during a mission. After the actual mission already is over, he can enjoy this one here with the team last two day. The Onsen someplace in Kirigakure is a quiet tip and absolutely quiet. In front of everyone far away of Suna and Konoha and the stress around his birthday.
He hates it. Temari and Gaara creep around him months before to find out what he wants for the birthday. And since it is a round, the Konohas made the same. Two weeks ago he has by chance (he has read Gaaras mail) that they plan a party in Konoha for him. He has immediately gone to Baki and this one has gone through the mission list and found, bingo, a mission. "Mission class A; Infiltration into the family of a prince in Kirigakure. Suspicion of the planning of a revolt with evt. Attack. Cooperation with Konoha. Duration of the mission. Mind. 2-3 weeks " he imagined perfectly and reports for it.
Baki has quite twisted the face. It has this lasted for almost an hour he is the best for the mission to convince Baki. No-one knows him in Kiri, water makes him to nothing out anyway (too at least not for washing) a puppeteer and a good actor and so on. Less enthusiastic, this were still Gaara he has accepted this mission. He must too dangerously for him, too much water, he must behave. But he says this, I want this you stay and with us your birthday celebrates, didn't say he.
The mission was simple. No miracle with the team. Ino, Neij and he. The infiltration was simple, innocent and the meal were the prince well. They then have found the Onsen and decided to remain three days there at the way back. Neij is a quiet type and Ino is also a whole OK if you know to silent her (Three words suffice: Sakura, Sasuke and marriage). It is in the Onsen quiet, he is alone in (mixed) bath.
It is far after midnight. He congratulates himself even on the birthday. It was really one slap-up idea. Beat, if he introduces himself, Temari a couple of hours unite him would wake with her fan, must shake himself he. He then would be forced to eat a burned cake, baked with love. And absolutely not according to recipe. He then would get presents and he must work surprised because what he gets doesn't know. But what he wants must give notes for months already.
He then would go to the puppeteer department because a step climbs him in the active list now. He then would go to celebrating with his Genin-team and then with the Konohas in the evening. With loud little babies. ( they are finally 2 years younger than him) T ruth or duty would have to wait for him, get presents stupidly and listen to stupid comments. He must remember his 18th birthday. The only difference would be, he could get plastered this time. (the babies might finally drink alcohol)
Sighing Kankuro puts himself in it take a bath and looks up into the sky. It was one good idea of getting out of it so. And what he but the hustle and bustle is therefore most is missing at the moment. "I will give me more trouble to be happy the next time" he mumbles and one little tear runs over his left cheek.
Such a small story to May 15th. Happy Birthday Kankuro. By my 25th birthday inspires. I have "fled" to Paris at that time and have missed the hustle and bustle really very much.
