Luffy was grinning at the side of the area with crossed arms. He tipped his straw hat at the sky and stared with a star worthy gaze, "I'm gonna be pirate king."
It was his goal.
His ambition.
It was his destiny to find the one pie-
"Luffy! What the hell are you doing?!" Nami yelled out as she dodged a sudden blade with scared eyes.
"Oy! Captain shouldn't you be helping your crew?!" Sanji immediately turned around and kicked a bandit who was trying to hit him before turning to the rest.
Zoro was slicing through the crowds of bandits that somehow evaded their ship while they weren't looking.
He and the rest of the crew were fighting, but their air head of a captain was just standing at the side with a grin.
Luffy, who was ignoring his friends pleas to help only stared out at the open ocean, "I'm gonna be pirate king."
Robin was gracefully avoiding her enemies while sending a couple of attacks their way. Even the normally calm person was getting irritated on how their captain wasn't helping them fight off the bandits.
Chopper suddenly felt fear when he saw a giant lion looking down at him with a hungry gaze.
"CHOPPER!" Luffy landed right next to chopper.
Chopper had hopeful eyes that Luffy will save him.
Hopeful eyes which died when Luffy sent a smug smile towards him and a thumbs up, "I'm gonna be pirate king."
Chopper felt his eyebrows twitch before he looked at the hungry lion with a sigh, "Just do it alrea-" the lion pounced on him.
Brook, Franky, and Ussop were just shooting everything they got at their opponents to drive them away.
In the end the group lost and were now shipped to the Government while the bandits took great pleasure in the reward money that they got for capturing the criminals.
All of the straw hats glared at Luffy who was now wearing prisoner clothing.
Luffy was quiet before he gave out a smile full of confidence.
"I'm gonna be pirate king one d-"
The crew lunged at Luffy in acts of anger and rage.
