How King Coltzan came to be.

The grove of palm trees caught light in their leaves and filtered the unwanted light onto the weed-ridden soil, this was paradise for the Kougras that lived on Koi Island. They had lived there for millennia since some of their kind had migrated from the mystery island to Koi Island where each kougra had enough koi to last a lifetime. Each Kougra was wise, yet none surpassed in knowledge except Krouga the wise old leader who had succeeded the leaders before him.
Now in a birthing den, Kaka was birthing her departed husband cubs. She was proud because these were Silvo's cubs. She had birthed a male kougra so far, a bronzed oak colour kougra with yellow eyes now she would birth her next.
Three agonizing hours later Kaka birthed her last kougra. She was tired but she admired her cubs, each surprisingly unique, there was the male kougra, and his sisters a white kougra with green eyes and a silver grey kougra with a white eye patch and hazel coloured eyes. Kaka's den was basic. A few coins scattered here and there. A buzzerwax candle and a small bed with few clothes on top of it.
Kaka had decided their names after their first drink of neomilk.
She called the male kougra Dagà meaning strong, the white kougra Skí meaning humble and the silver grey kougra she called her Tigra meaning mysterious one. The Kougras enjoyed their drink and soon were exploring. Then they were given clothes to wear. Dagà was given a blue Mar, (a tunic like clothing), Skí a purple Mar and Tigra a jade green Mar. Each kougra was happy yet that was to change.
