Misery
She smiled at them. Most of them smiled while others just breathe a sigh of relief. And he can't help but also smile. It's finally over. After all of their hardships, they're finally free. The elementary school principal's gone. They don't need to suffer anymore. They can now live peacefully and happily just like before.
No more problems. No more danger. No more misery.
"Mikan." she heard someone call her name. She knew that voice very well. She looked at the person standing a good few meters away from her. Her eyes widen when she noticed his current state. There were wounds all over his body. He fell on his knees and started coughing blood. She rushed at him. He looked up then smiled faintly.
"Be happy…" he trailed off. 'I love you…' those words were unsaid but it reached her. He fell on the ground. She shook him, tears starting to fall from her eyes.
"Natsume."
No matter how many times she called he wouldn't open his eyes. He isn't breathing anymore.
"Why?"
They succeed but they lost something in return...
He's already dead.
...his life.
She cried. Everyone else cried… for him… for her. While he, the reason for their sorrow has a faint smile on his face.
This was the day all of their problems, worries and fears end.
This was also the day his life came to an end…
'I love you too…'
…and along with it, her heart also died.
No more problems. Yes. No more danger. Yes. No more misery... or so they thought..

A/N: Hey guys! I've been gone from FFnet for so long. I miss writing stories. I just wrote this since I'm feeling really angsty since yesterday when I was sitting on an almost empty hallway waiting for my class to start and it's raining real hard. It's depressing, so yeah I came up with this when I was thinking of the possible ending for the GA manga.
