"A private beach. If you were this rich, you can afford to move to Japan, Cavallone."
"You know I'd love to, Kyouya, but you also know that I can't."
Feet digging into the sand beneath the two men, Dino and Hibari walked hand-in-hand through the long stretch of white sand. Nobody was around but, in any case, it didn't really matter if they were seen together or not. Anyone who opposed their relationsip would surely be bitten to death.
The pair had reach a part of the beach, full of big rocks, and sat down, waiting for the sunset.
"Why don't you move to Italy, instead? Tsuna's headquarters is here, after all, so it's be easier for you to work." Dino turned to his lover, questioning and pleading eyes betraying the futile attempt to act nonchalant.
It was hard for them, living in two different countries. The blonde wanted so badly to be able to come home to his Hibari every exhausting night. Besides, he couldn't really leave him alone. Not when a certain pineapple-head had been eyeing his Kyouya for quite some time now.
"I haveno reason to join those herbivore. They do well without me, I do better without them. It really is a win-win situation, no matter how you look at it." Hibari fisted the sand under his leg and began to play with it, staring onto the vast blue ocean. He had to keep calm. How dare he even suggest to live with those herbivores. He'd only bite every single on of them to death. Hibari started to get up and patted his sandy butt clean.
"Who said anything about staying with the Vongola Decimo and the other guardians?" a playful tone clung to his every word.
Hibari turned to the older man, confused and, albeit trying desperately to hide it, hopeful. The blonde had started to push himself off a huge rock, a small black pouch in his left hand. Dino poured out the contents of the pouch onto his hand and showed Hibari a set of keys attached to a chain and a ring.
"This," Dino tapped the bundle of silver keys, "are the keys that you'll need. For the house, my room and your room. Of course, if you want to share a room then I'm all for it. The chain's so that you can wear the keys as a necklace," picking them up and carefully placing them around Hibari's neck. "Lastly," he picked up the ring affectionately, "this is the proof of my devotion. I love you, Kyouya. I will do anything to be with you everyday."
Hibari blinked. Once. Twice. "I can bring Roll and Hibird over, right?"
A/N: My very first shounen-ai fic. I am so glad my Day 1 fell on D18. This is a part of a personal challenge, a drabble a day until Valentines Day. My prompt for this D18 was the beach. This was done on Feb1, Day 1, but I was too busy to post it. And, I was scared because this is my first shounen-ai fic. So far there are only 3 drabble fics up. Day 1 to Day 3. Check them out if you have the time. They're on random pairings though, so it's not always KHR-based. Oh. And, review? I kinda like this one but I think it's a bit OOC.
