A/N: Written for the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Year 1 Art, prompts: snow, boots, faerie, stink

Luna and the Winter Faeries

Luna knew faeries loved the white paradise, so she was always looking for one in the winter. Shoes sunk into the deep snow; she would have had her boots, except her boots had disappeared earlier that week and all she had were her usual school shoes.

Though the faeries wouldn't mind either way, so she was happy. Their noses were very sensitive though, so she'd been sure to clean the shoes thoroughly, in case they had the smell of potions ingredients or crospurts on them. They wouldn't like that. She'd worn her flower perfume instead, because the faeries loved that smell.

And she danced in the snow alone, hoping the faeries would see her and dance with her.
