I witnessed the cherry blossoms bloom at the expected time; their scent so much like Tsukishima's, though he was not there to deny it. Seiya, too, was absent in a sense.
"When spring comes and this tree's buds resembles pink mist, let's watch them bloom together." Thus, we had promised. A promise I intended to keep, though I alone have kept.
It was our promise that kept me fighting. Our promise that gave me strength, when defeat was inevitable and prayers unanswered. But, it is my promise to myself, in spite of Tsukishima, that I continue to live.
