Alya stared out the window as the moonlight illuminated her best friend's sleeping body. From her position, she could see the light on the rooftops, the same rooftops she had run across only this very night.
It felt like a dream now. Ladybug giving her a Miraculous, meeting Trixx and transforming for the first time. Leaping in to save Chat Noir from the hundreds of Sapotises. Actually working side by side with the heroes of Paris. Even calling up her special power for the first time. (She made a mental note to ask Chat how he instinctively knew how it worked)
She reached for the necklace that was no longer there. How tempting it had been to just keep the Miraculous. To break her promise and keep on living her dream.
Still…she couldn't do that. Not to Ladybug.
But as she stared out into the night, she couldn't help but wish…
AN: Okay, some people have been freaking out about Alya returning the Fox Miraculous, but I personally loved it. I have no doubt that we'll see Rena Rouge again.
