This is Pallet Town; a small collection of white-washed houses situated in the woods along the coast. Never heard of Pallet Town? I can't say I'm surprised; it's about as far from civilization as a small collection of white-washed houses situated in the woods along the coast can get. It's about two degrees north of Nowhere and just south of Nothing-ville.
To some people that might actually sound charming. And Pallet Town is kind of charming, in that desolate, silent, same sixty faces every day for the rest of your life kind of way.
There are other villages out there that are bigger, better, and far more interesting, with lots of people and sounds and things to see. But if there is one thing that makes Pallet Town of any interest, one thing that sets this place apart from anywhere else in all of Kanto, one thing that makes it exciting…
…it's the pests.
