No matter how many times they tried to escape from each other's clutches. They always end up returning to one another. A cycle that never ends, and as many times they try to leave the other; love would drag them back kicking and screaming. All the pain and tears each has suffered; seems to be dulled out by simple kisses and embraces.
Maybe if they sat down and talked it over they would break the cycle of honeymoon to nearly killing one another. It's clear to everyone that they still love one another. But the scars are deep and they refuse to be the one to speak up.
Time and time again they always come back and each time the scars get deeper. Each kiss and embrace engraving itself into their tarnished souls. Addicting like Pistachios, you just can't have one without going on a binge. They are destined to love one another to the end of time. Yet something always comes between them. Things that always come back to haunt them: war, greed, politics and themselves.
Each time fighting for what they believe in and ending in misery. They let go of the hand that clasped tightly in theirs as a life line. In order to protect the other and risking it all; they let go. But like each story you can't always escape love…
