Disclaimer: Don't own and never will
AN: This is based on an idea suggested by Fanfiction author May 16 and this is a rewrite of the first chapter.
AN2: In this fic, Gabriel Agreste is NOT Hawkmoth.
AN3: This is a Wild West AU. However my knowledge and experience with the era and genre are very limited. As such, this isn't a specific time or place, but rather a fantasy version of the Wild West. As such, I ask for some slack here.
There are many stories of the town of Petite Miraculous.
Like many places, the stories that surround Petite Miraculous are mostly the small things. Stories of love and life and laughter alike. Stories that can be found in many such small, one horse towns.
This story is not one of those small stories however. This story changed the future of this little one horse town and the entire western frontier. And it begins with the train arriving at the station.
"Adrikins!"
A young blond woman threw her arms around the young man stepping off the train, who stepped slightly back.
"Hey Chlo," he said as he narrowly avoided her kissing him on the cheeks. "I wasn't gone that long you know."
"It seems like far too long," she said as she finally let go of him. "This place is so small and dirty and the people…urgh! It's hard being the sole beacon of civilisation out here!"
"It's not that bad Chloe," Adrien said with a smile as he looked over the town. At the station he could see Marinette helping her papa unload the latest batch of baking supplies. Le Grand Paris salon and hotel stood proud nearby. Further on was the town itself, a single street that contained almost all the buildings in town.
"Come on Adri-kins, I know you find these country folk quaint, but just look at them!" she gestured at a tall young man wrestling a pig onto the goods carriage. "How…yuck!"
"Hi Kim," Adrien said with a smile. Kim grunted.
"Hey Adrien," he said as he pushed against the one pig that was determined not to go on the train. "This bl-"
"Oh Adri-kins, won't you be a gentleman and help me to my carriage?" Chloe simpered. "I need a nice strong handsome man to help me and-"
"I'll help," Kim said, much to Adrien's relief. Chloe sniffed contemptuously.
"You?" she asked, her tone sneering. "You are filthy. You wouldn't even be able to afford my shoes and the delicate clothing…don't be absurd. No, I'm sure Adri-"
"Chloe, I've put your bags on the back of the carriage!" Sabrina said and Chloe glared at the girl. Sabrina paled and slowly backed away.
"I'll see you later Chloe," Adrien said with a smile as he mounted his horse and gently rode away from her. Chloe blew him a kiss and the two parted ways.
