Holy Mother Mary. Getting to a computer long enough to type anything is ridiculously hard. I still have a virus on my computer, and I can't get on at all. (I'm borrowing a computer right now) but plans are in place to fix it (God Bless the Geek Squad).

Enjoy this One Shot to let you know I'm alive and trying. Don't own anything.

WARNINGS: FEM27 (As always with my KHR) Inspired by Home by Phillip Phillips and no romantic pairings.

Reborn had always, for as long as he could remember, traveled from one place to another. He had never settled anywhere, had never…felt at peace anywhere so he had kept moving, kept going without forming any real bonds with anyone or anything.

And then there had been Natsume Sawada.

The girl was a walking trouble magnet, a klutz, a person who failed over and over and over again at the simplest of tasks. She was even incapable of walking two feet without falling.

She was everything Reborn tried to avoid, but she was his assignment, and Reborn was not planning on breaking his perfect track record any time soon, so he worked Natsume into the ground preparing her for the fights to come and the huge responsibility that would soon rest on her shoulders.

Reborn would admit there were some very rough spots on his journey to turn Natsume into an acceptable Mafia Donna. There were times that even Reborn in all his unshakable determination, all his steel will, wasn't sure how they would walk out of the situations they found themselves in one piece. Despite that Natsume surprised him again and again. She would get up from a blow, or she'd reason her way through a supposedly hopeless situation and she'd leave Reborn silently, secretly, marveling at the woman she was becoming. Marveling at the woman who, without question, (Lots of complaining, but no question) accepted a second, darker, sun into her sky. Marveling that she extended a hand and a smile to him over and over again no matter what he did or said to her.

Reborn isn't sure when or how it happened, but Natsume Sawada- a woman he is ashamed to admit he would have overlooked if not for his assignment to be her teacher and guide into the dark shadowed world of the mafia- had created a place where Reborn felt at peace with himself and the world around him. A place that, no matter how many times he tried to drift away from in an attempt to return to the way his life had been before meeting Natsume, no matter how many times he got lost, Reborn found himself returning to her side.

She had become his home.

She had become the person that he was glad to see every day.

The person he looked forward to seeing at the beginning and end of the day and anytime in between.

He wasn't alone anymore.

Natsume had made sure he had a place to return too, had a family to welcome him home. She had made sure he had a Sky to envelop and accept him with all his faults and demons and chaos causing sadistic issues.

Reborn had found his place of peace and acceptance, had found the place he wanted to return to no matter where he ended up and for that he was forever grateful.
