The Adventure
Note: These are all my pets. Neopets doesn't belong to me. It's basically how I think a Neopian visit would be like. Look me up as "techocal".

I had just logged onto Neopets.com. I clicked on the "New Features" section on the sidebar. It said something about a test for everybody who clicked a button. Now, since I'm not one who would ever pass up on that kind of thing, I clicked. Then I had to go to bed, thinking about the mysterious test...
When I woke up, something furry was laying on top of me. I opened my eyes and stared.
Sitting on top of me was what looked like a small yellow tiger, with something orange on its head. The orange thing was a tiny near-replica of the creature perched on me, only it had little tusks and a light blue collar. Could it be..."Hey, I think I'm in Neopia!" I cried. "And you're my Kougra, AkimaLightning!" She grinned and then spoke. Her voice? A sort of catlike voice, with a little purr at any time the letter "R" was said. "That's right. And here's Little-Tiger, the Gruslen you gave me."
I noticed only then that I was in our NeoHome, in Mystery Island. After getting dressed, I walked downstairs.
I was greeted by the sight of my other pets: Kitstaru, a red Shoyru [dragonlike, stands on two legs, cone on back of head], Gotomon209, an adopted green Wocky[catlike, furry collar], and their little brother, TenativeIce the yellow Zafara[kangaroo-like, doglike ears, ruffled tuft on forehead]. Kit was drawing, Goto was reading a book called "Kougra Tales", and T.I. was eating a Faerie Queen Burrito. I grabbed a Scabu from the 'fridge, and only then was I noticed. Goto blinked at me. "We've been waiting...finally, a human!" She cried. "You wanna see the sights?"
About 10 minutes later, I was walking down the Mystery Island road with Kit on my shoulder and the other girls walking beside me. T.I. passed on seeing the sights.
The Kitchen Quest chef was sitting at his hut, calling out.
"Hey--hey you! Wanna help me?"
The Exotic Fruits Techo[froglike, stands on two legs, large feet] was standing at his spot.
"Fresh fruits for sale! Juicy Melons, only 200 NeoPoints! Ergy Fruit and Sardplant, only 150 NeoPoints!"
"Yuck," Akima gagged, "No wonder Sardplants are so cheap."
The Rock Pool Kougra was standing amid fishlike PetPets.
"Good pets for good prices!"
"Sorry," Goto said, "but we already all have pets."
Pets roamed the streets: Cybunnies[rabbitlike, furry collar, no tail], Lupes[wolflike, white-tufted ears, fluffy tail], Meercas[chipmunk-like, very long tail], and so on. Everybody gawked at me, as if they never saw a human before. Truth to be told, I wasn't sure they did.
I decided to play "Deckswabber". So I walked over to the "Games" section of the sidebar and hopped on it. I was shown a bunch of games and picked "Deckswabber". All of a sudden, a screen shot up with the game playing and some controls. I played until I won 152 NeoPoints. I spent the money on a few fruits, disappointing Akima with a Sardplant.
All in all, things were great, I decided. And since the offer said something about staying for a week, I decided there would be plenty of opportunities...
