Golden Child Demi-God
My life started out with a simple yet not so simple love story. My father is Zeus the all mighty and powerful god of the heavens, but my mother is a simple mortal human named Farah who was a tanned beauty in most mortals' cases. Things began when Zeus wanted to visit the land of earth to see how all of his children were doing. Now Zeus had no plans to be falling in love at any point but when he saw my mother there were no words to describe what he had felt. Though Zeus had his own wife there was just something more there for him than he wanted. Farah reminded him of an old love something Zeus had deeply missed and Farah had thought the same. Soon Zeus had himself stay on earth longer for this mortal that he forgot of his sweet goddess in the heavens and gave his love to the mortal. Not before long Farah was pregnant and Zeus took full responsibility of it and took care of Farah, but after a while Farah had her child and unlike normal babies she came quicker than most. This baby came out with hair already growing with her golden highlights and she was beyond any beauty one would think. Zeus had wanted to name me Xan but my mother liked the name Xalia so I wouldn't have such the boy name. Zeus being unsure of what to do left to the heavens saying he'd back soon enough and Farah waited for him. Weeks later Zeus had come back and stayed with Farah for a while but soon enough the heavens needed him so he left. This repeated for years until my fifth birthday when he told Farah that he was a god and not a simple human. Farah was shocked to know yet still stayed with Zeus and soon the very next week Zeus too me with him to the heavens. After that day I had met my brothers and uncles and they I ate the food of the gods which caused me to not even be able to stomach one tiny bit of human or mortal food unless it was good cake. After years of going back and forth from earth to heaven I was then mixed up so Zeus kept me in the heavens most months and earth many others. Soon I could live in both places without the worry of not knowing what was ok in one place yet not the other. Now I live life like a normal demi-god, or at least what I consider normal.
"Don't forget to tell Farah I said hi alright Xan?" Zeus asked
"Yes father" I smiled "oh and papa!" I yelled out
Zeus cut me off and took me down to earth as my mom warmly welcomed me to a hug and a small kiss on the forehead smiling big. My mother look at me with her big pretty green eyes
"Hey Xalia how was it up there with your father?" Farah Warmly asked
"Normal he did the usual" I sighed
Farah giggled and hugged me close forgetting that I hated to be touched for long periods of times. She finally let go and continued to her other activities and cooking her favorite things as well. I sat and sighed knowing long days were coming because this March was the day I turned 13 which to gods meant a lot more than just being a simple teen but a growing healthy god. And for me it was to be ruler of all low mortals or so what Zeus says, But i have a feeling it's much more than just that it has to be right?
