Disclaimer/The Really Crappy Legal Stuff: I could say something witty and humorous, but I'm too tired! I don't own Rainbow Brite!!!

Rainbow yawned as she climbed into bed and pulled her covers up. She'd been working hard to start off spring with a blast of color that year, since Stormy had (to Rainbow's aggravation) covered the Earth with snow and storms all winter. Sometimes she envied Stormy. She didn't have to work to hard for her fun, but she reminded herself that colors were much nicer than storms!

Kitty Brite and Puppy Brite snuggled up next to her and, casting a final look outside at Moonglow's spectacular night, she drifted off into a peaceful sleep.

Around Rainbowland the other Color Kids and Spites were retiring to their beds as well. Each had done their best to help Rainbow that day. Red, Lala, and Canary had gotten up early to make a beautiful sunrise, and after that Patty and Buddy worked with the plants and a clear blue sky. Indigo and Violet worked with Tickled Pink to make early flower buds, and then Indigo gave some deep indigo Star Sprinkles to Moonglow to make the night sky deep purple rather than the usual blue-ish black! Yes, it had indeed been a very tiring day. And so, the too drifted into some well earned sleep.

Sleep was far away for Murky Dismal though. He hadn't slept all week, too absorbed into his latest project. He checked all his machinery and, finding it satisfactory he yelled out

"LURKY! Do you have what I need yet?!"

Lurky came upstairs, happily carrying a bag of things he'd taken from Rainbow Land all week. "Here I am Murky! I got what you told me to!" he said cheerfully, emptying the contents on the table.

Most of it was hair, several strands in what had to be 100 small baggies. Color Crystals and Star Sprinkles littered a good deal of the table as well, all the colors present.

Murky was delighted "Wonderful! Soon I'll have what I need to get that Rainbow Brat and wipe out all the Color in Rainbow Land!" he yelled.

Opening each bag, he poured the contents into a compartment connected to a machine that was connected to something under a sheet on another table. This process took quite a while, being so many bags, but he didn't seem to mind. Same with the Color Crystals and Star Sprinkles.

"What cha makin' Murky?" asked Lurky, peering over his shoulder.

"The ultimate weapon Lurky," Murky sneered with glee "The ultimate weapon to destroy Rainbowland!!!"
