Sometimes Grumpy wondered just how deep Snow White's beauty ran. He hated taking baths, and it seemed that his hands were never clean enough until he had nearly scrubbed his flesh off. Yet it was nice to know that he was coming home to a feast. He pretended to be annoyed by her ways but secretly yearned to rescue the fairy tale Princess himself. She made him happiest when she kissed him. It was those kisses that reminded him, most of all, that she truly was the fairest of all and they were lucky to have her in their lives.
