Hi all. So yeah, this is in a new story spot because it's not a one-shot. In my Avengers kids I will keep them as kids with the ages I picked out in chapter 2.
This takes place five years later. The 'kids' are now as follows. Mike - 17, Johnny and Robin - 14 (same school and a few same classes) Jamie is 13, Lizzie and Zephyr are 10 and little Emily is 9 now.
This is a prologue that I just thought of.
Love is a very complicated thing. Its impossible to know who you'll fall for. So what happens when you finally fall in love but its with your very best friend?
Robin sang softly and beautifully. She was alone in the theater room practicing for the talent show. Her song choice was from her favorite movie Tangled. It was the only movie that the mini Avenger girls all loved to watch together.
Unknown to her, she wasn't completely alone in the room. He stood by the curtain and stared at her. He never heard her sing like this, she sounded like a real princess.
Robin had been sitting as she sang quietly but at the chorus she stood. She danced graciously across the stage singing the chorus.
And at last I see the light
And it's like the fog has lifted
And at last I see the light
And it's like the sky is new
And it's warm and real and bright
And the world has somehow shifted
All at once everything looks different, now that I see you
Johnny emerged from his spot and sang Flint's part with ease. He asked Emily what Robin was planning and she told him in exchange for a full play date and he had to do everything Emily said.
Johnny agreed easily. He wanted to help Robin win, he couldn't stand anyone else singing with her. It made him sick.
Robin gaped at him but when the duet came she sang with him. He held her hands and they danced as they sang.
When it ended they were still staring at each other. Johnny leaned in and…the two locked lips. Robin puts her arms around Johnny and kissed back and then it ended a few seconds later.
Johnny gasped. He had liked the kiss…a lot…that wasn't supposed to happen.
"Robin…did…we…"
"Yes…" She answered slowly and then quickly moved away from him. "I don't think we can hang out anymore Johnny…our parents won't like this" she said and ran out of the room.
Johnny's legs gave out and he crumpled to the floor. "Yeah…why couldn't we just stay stupid kids who pretended we were cousins" he moaned.
