Mituna walked the path on his way back to his and Latula's hive. He shivered and pulled his jacket around himself tighter as he remembered the fight.

"TULA, THE VOICES ARE SO LOUD! THE DOOM IS COMING! WHY WON'T YOU BELIEVE ME!"

"BECAUSE YOU'RE WRONG!" She tried to compose herself, taking a deep breath, then she continued. "We have searched for everything you have said was coming. Every, single, time, nothing you said has come to fruition. And you yelling certainly doesn't make me want to believe a word you say." She glared at him, and he cringed.

But he would not be deterred. "IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME, I'LL JUST HAVE TO FIND IT MYSELF!" He turned around and stormed out, slamming the door shut behind him.

He had searched for hours, and his temper had cooled down considerably. That happened a lot. He always ended up coming home and apologizing to her. It wasn't like he could help that anger. Stupid psionics. He sighed, and trudged home, think over his apology. He started reciting it out loud, and eventually, he had to stop. He remembered that she liked it simple. "Im sorry 'Tula. You know how the voices get. But that doesn't excuse how rude I was. You know I love you." He nodded. That was perfect. She would kiss him on the forehead, and forgive him, and they could get on with their lives, at least until the next fight.

GRRRRRRRRROOOAAARRRRRRRRRR!

What the heck was that?! He thought. He raced around the corner, and saw it. It was huge, a giant monster, bigger than any of them had seen in the game yet. He had been right. He took a battle stance, and charged his psionics. He only hoped he could defeat this horrid thing. And if he couldn't, that he could weaken it enough for the others to take.

The beast took a step toward him, shaking the ground with considerable force, and he ran toward it.

"TUNA! TUNA! ARE YOU OKAY? PLEASE PLEASE TUNA! PLEASE WAKE UP!"

He swam back to consciousness, his mind murky, his head full of pain. Who was that voice? Why was she so hysterical? And who the heck was Tuna?

His eyes cracked open, and his eyes cleared the fuzz away. Was that Latula? Wait, how did he know? Why did his head hurt so bad? He tried to talk, but he couldn't get anything out. Right before he passed out again, his head lolled back, and his hair fell off his face. He heard Latula gasp and scream for help before it went black again.

He woke up again, and he felt a little better. He knew who he was, and he knew who Latula was. He had to tell her something, but he didn't know why. But he knew he really really had to tell her.

His mouth opened, and he tried to call Tula. "TUL4. WH3RRR3 4R3 YYYOURD." His forehead creased in horrible confusion. Why did he sound like that? What was going on? He knew his voice, and that wasn't it. He yelled out again "TUL44444!"

She ran to his side, and pet his head softly, saying "Shhhh, shh Mituna. I'm here, its ok. Just calm down, and you'll be okay. Don't cry baby, it's ok." He was crying?

"1M 50RRY." He looked at her, tears streaming down his face. He didn't know why he had to apologize to her, he just knew he really had to.

She looked at him with pain on her face, and held him close.

"You don't ever have to apologize to me, my brave, brave boy." A single teal tear fell on his shoulder.
