A sharp, harsh blow rang throughout the air. In its rapid disappearance remained a dull echo.

For that very moment, Hyuuga Hinata flew.

Her feet no longer touched the lightly grass covered autumn ground, her upper body trading its place up high with her humble sneaker clad feet. She fell back, her body touching only the air around. For that moment, time stopped. Her eyes stared blindly at the blue sky, and for a moment she was overcome by the sheer shade of rich light blue.

'How pretty...'

THUMP.

And then she limply hit the ground on her upper back, her body springing alive with pain, aches, and then her legs blindly kicked up in the air before gravity brought them down. They too, fell limply.

Unshed tears danced across the lower lid of her pale lavender eyes, and she had to bite down on her pale peach lips to keep them from rolling down her plump cheeks. She could have potentially wallowed there, drowning in disappointment and depression. In fact, while the tears in her eyes were at bay for the moment being, she could feel the mucus slip down her left nostril, proudly planting itself just above her upper lip.

"Hinata-sama, please stand up." Hinata looked up at her cousin's face- calm and composed on the outside, but on the inside she knew he was sneering and malicious towards her. He did not dare offer her a hand, most likely not wishing to associate himself with the 'swine' that tarnished the Hyuuga name.

Hinata wiped the booger from under her nose with the sleeve of her tan jacket and got up. Her body ached and throbbed terribly, especially in her back and shoulders. Sourly, she held back a complaint towards her cousin, he would most likely shrug it off or use it as an excuse to talk her frail esteem down to nothing.

Neji's specialty was making you feel horrible about yourself.

"This is disappointing, Hinata-sama, I expected better of you." He paused, and had she not been terrified by him, aching too much to protest, and reserved to the point it was ridiculous, Hinata would have scoffed. He expected nothing of her, except that she would be no match for him. "Your father will want to speak to you about today's training session in private later."

He grinned a moment then he swiveled his head around, most likely internally mocking her. "And clean yourself up, snot is pouring out of your nose." He remarked crassly before wlaking off with a cocky, amlost girlish stride.

Hinata's mouth gaped, face aflame, as his internal mockery made itself known. She pouted heavily, and stumbled a bit as she stood up. She saw sparks for a few seconds, her mind fuzz and senses dulled.

"Gawww... if I hadn't practically snapped it, I might be in the right mind to use my backbone to give Neji a taste of his own medicine..."

But she never would have the guts to do so. After all, she loved her cousin very much, so much that is was borderline taboo.

And Hinata would continue to.

If you couldn't tell, that was just a bullshitted ending. I was going to make this a story, but quickly realized I hated writing in the actually setting of Konohagakure. Probably because I'm no longer a huge Narutard. Well, I never was a huge Narutard, just a huge Hinatard. HUGE.. I;ve been a Hinatard for at least two years, and I have deserted fanfiction accounts filled with crap to prove it.
