`Harry Potter and his best friend, Ron Weasly, were walking down to the dungeons where their double potions class was supposed to be held. They were walking quite slowly, trying to delay from having to see Professor Snape as long as they could.\
Harry and Ron were in their fifth year at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The boys had been friends since their first day of school.
"So Harry, if you had three wishes, what would they be??" Ron asked.
"Why do you want to know? You didn't buy a genie when your family found that gold beneath your house last summer!" Harry joked. Ron's family had discovered over 10,000 galleons buried uner their house the previous summer. "Well, I guess the first one would be for Snape to be fired and for someone nicer to take his place, the second would be for Voldemort," Ron shuddered at the name, "to be killed and not able to come back, and the third," Harry blushed, "And the third would be for me and Cho…" Harry had asked Cho Chang, his crush for two years out over the summer. She had agreed.
"What do you mean, you and Cho?? You're already going out, what more do you want?" Ron asked.
"Well, she could at least kiss me or something." Harry felt his face turn a very bright shade of red.
"mmm hmmm." Ron looked skeptical, but shrugged it off. They walked into the dungeons. The first thing that they noticed was that the dungeon looked a lot more cheerful than usual. It had a poster of Victor Krum, a well known Quidditch player, on the wall, and there was a fire lit in a couldron. All in all they didn't recognize the place. Their second surprise was that Professor Snape didn't come to class. Instead, a very pretty blonde witch came into the class room and started speaking. "Class, I am Professor Smith. Your regular teacher, Professor Snape, has been removed from Hogwarts School, for reasons not for your ears. I will be teaching this class now."
Harry and Ron exchanged astonished glances at each other. Harry's first wish had come true. Now if only his others would…
Soon, Professor Smith had them making very strong love potions that smelled like roses. After Harry's turned out smelling like raw meat, he knew something was wrong. Professor Smith, instead of giving him a detention, she showed him what he was doing wrong, he had added more four-leaf clovers than he needed to.
After a while, Professor McGonagall, the transfiguration teacher, came down to deliver some news. "Although all of you know about Voldemort's return to power, he was found, today, in Hogsmead, dead as a doornail, we don't know what killed him, but some wizards are saying that he tried to perform the Cruciatus Curse on a shopkeeper, and the shopkeeper ducked behind a mirror, and it rebounded upon himself, the shock from the pain killed him. He will be burned, liquified, and buried over 1000 feet under gringotts level." Harry and Ron exchanged another glance. Wow! The wishes were coming true!
Later that day they were walking down the hall, going towards the great hall, when he spotted Cho walking through the corridors. She sopped when she spotted him, and walked over toward him. Before he could speak, she swept him into a huge kiss. Ron grinned behind their backs. He was sure enjoying his power to make wishes come true!!!
