The cold breeze felt god against her back, slowly lowering her head to look at the man lying in her lap. His beautiful dark hair blowing in the wind, he met her eyes and gave her a warm smile.
"What are you thinking about Cho?" Cedric wondered.
"How time always flies away, you barely have time to grasp reality and it crumbles before your eyes only to get swept away in the darkness." She answered with a sad look in her eyes.
The silences feel upon them, never breaking their eye contact they stayed still for what could seem like forever, but still not long enough. A tear gently searched its way down Cho's cheek; Cedric sat up and gently caressed her. Not being able to change the future nor the past, all they had was these short dreaming moments.
"Everything will work out you will see" he whispered to Cho "I love you and I always will" He assured her.
"I know Cedric, and that's why it hurts so much." The tears started to flow and she pulled herself closer to him, thinking that it would make the pain in her chest go away. But it didn't, it never did. "I love you too Cedric and I want to be with you forever" He reached down to her and kissed her fiercely and still gentle " One day we will be together again" he whispered ass the wind once more started to blow. She closed her eyes and felt Cedric disappear, opened them once more to watch the wind carry away the small glitter towards the stars.
Cho sat still and watched the stars glittering of the waves before she started to lower her body in to the freezing water of the lake. The view was beautiful with Hogwarts, the stars, the moon and the silhouette of the man she loved beside her. She tried to draw a breath and the cold water filled her lunges, there was no pain only the sense of happiness of being able to reunite with Cedric once again.
