My name….
She looked around with wonder. To make sure it was all real, she tenderly reached out to touch a lilac rose, and when she did her whole body froze all of a sudden. Frightened, she slowly retracted her quivering hand to her being, stumbling to keep her balance, seemingly mortified. A soft angelic, yet timid voice broke the deafening silence surrounding the unnatural paradise like garden….
'My name, you said my name!'
Chapter one….
In a village named Cheshiere Lockomore lived a young girl at the ripe age of 14. This young child was an extraordinary one, if you will, for she had a type of gift. This gift was one many tried to possess, but all failed, for it was a natural one given at birth and for very few, like the young girl, it doesn't seem to fade away. It is the gift of a true smile, one that can make even *Grumpy Old Joe*, who had never smiled in his entire life, to crack even the smallest of them all.
She was a shy one, and as quiet as one can be, but had the brightest smile of them all, bringing happiness to everyone she smiled at. Well, almost everyone. I say almost because she cannot make herself happy from her smile, nor can another's, for you see she is not a normal girl, no. You see she is very peculiar, as she was born with an "illness" so to speak, the girl was born blind so therefor she can't even see her own smile. There is a way to possibly see something with a particular surgery but she comes from a very poor family from a very poor village that didn't have a good enough doctor it was a miracle that anyone survived the coldest and harshest winters in the county. The winters there were brutal, as was the doctor, for he was a former butcher while the child was there to give as much help as possible while being blind she can only do so much to help.
