It's about 10:45 PM and I'm OH SO BORED! So, I decided to write another short story! LOL. I hope you enjoy it…..
Lazy Street Dreams
The sound of a chorus of birds hailing in the morning woke Leo Wyatt from his peaceful sleep. He smiled as he remembered his dream; he and Piper lying in a meadow under the stars in each-other's arms.
His wife, Piper Halliwell-Wyatt, had long been the subject of his dreams, and he never ceased to enjoy the wonders his imagination could concoct about the glorious woman he was lucky enough to call his wife and the mother of his children.
Though his dreams could never compare to the real thing, Leo smiled anyway as he thought to himself how lucky he was that Piper had chosen him. She and their children were the very reason he even breathed. As her whiteligher, and as her husband, he devoted his whole life to her and his time was always spent doing things to make her happy.
He knew she felt the same way about him.
Leo moved over in the bed and brushed away her soft, brown hair from her face and kissed her cheek softly. He then felt Piper shift slightly in his arms and she sighed a little in her sleep.
He wondered to himself what she was dreaming about, hopefully it was him, but it didn't matter, he was content just to watch her sleep.
He stroked her cheek softly, careful not to wake her up. She needed her sleep. With the kids, P3, and the duty she shared with her sisters, she was under a lot of stress ALL THE TIME. And for the past three months she and her sisters had been trying to hunt down a warlock that was threatening to take control of San Francisco's organized crime.
So…he let her sleep, and he watched her…loving every moment of it as he lazily lay in bed beside her on this slow and easy morning….
