The sweet words you said to me on that day has never left my mind.

"Close your eyes and concentrate on your lips. Remember my kiss, it will always be yours. So that even if I change you'll remember this." You smiled at me pointing at your soft pink lips.

I stupidly did as you said, knowing what came after. How long has it been since those tender gentle arms wrapped around me. Tell me, how is England, Sonika?

I sit on the couch and wrap a blanket around my cold shoulders. It's raining here. It started to rain as soon as you left, did you know that?

Mew is getting frustrated so I pick her up and put her on my lap. The kitten paws at the picture of you on my knee. She misses you too.

I turn on my computer and check my messages. Of course you didn't message me. You are a very busy girl and I'm so proud of you. I threw it to the side. No point in going on. I switch the TV on, hoping to get a glimpse of you. No, you wouldn't be on Japanese tv, would you? I turn it off again.+

Has it really been three years?

I get up and fiddle with my guitar a little. Then piano. It's no use, I can't think of anything.

I go out with some friends the following day. They smile and laugh with me. I respond the same.

Isn't that how it's supposed to be?

Then why am I crying?

I excuse myself for the rest of the day and go home. I fed Mew and now she seems a little happier.

Good for her.

Its eleven at night here. I wonder what time it is in England? I made a meal. I can't figure out if it's breakfast or dinner, though. I guess it can be both.

Is your dreaming coming true?

I wonder when the sun came up. Doesn't matter, really, but it's Monday so I should head off to work. It's my day to open shop.

'Coffee Cafe: Proud holder of the QTest coffee imaginable!' That's what the sign reads out front. Pretty lame, huh? You'd like it here, though. There are so many cute girls here drinking cute coffee with their stupid cute lips.

Why am I even here?

The boss is telling me to smile, but when I do the people here begin to whisper.

Can they see through me?

I get home and it's still pretty sunny out, but a cloud is creeping up. It'll probably rain soon.

I go out shopping. It really isn't much, just coffe, a notebook, amd a pack of ciggarettes. Yeah, I started smoking. It really is a bad habit.

I get home and Mew comes up to me. She is such a good cat. She'll never leave me, I think.

So why did you leave?

I get a call from your Australian friend. She asks me about you. I tell you are not here. She apologizes and hangs up.

When did it become like this?

It's getting dark, but where did the day go?

I'll try to get some sleep. The lights outside the windows illuminate this empty room and I cover my face and scream.

I really really miss you.
