Sorry it took so long. My second request is done. KaylaDestroyer this is for you.

Raz clambered out of the water, shivering, and lay on the ice. Her breathing was shallow. Her whole body ached, and she was pretty sure she had broken some ribs . The whale. The whale had sprayed her. She felt her self slipping. Slipping… Then darkness.

It was light. Then dark. Light. Dark. For two days Raz lay, curled in the fetal position, while her body slowly mended itself. The night of the second day, she blinked open her eyes. They where milky, but brighter then they had been in days.

She felt…. Free. Raising shakily, she wobbled into the brush. There she tried to think. Food. She staggered farther into the brush and found a bush full of berries. There she ate her fill. A creek was nearby, and she plunged her face into the water and drank.

"R-Raz…?" a shaky voice sounded at the other side of the clearing.

"Gupta?" she turned, eyes widening with happiness.

"Raz!" Gupta ran over and hugged her. She hugged back, glad to see her old friend.

"What are you doing here?" She asked him.

He looked at her sorrowfully, "I'm just passing through…looking for a new place to stay…" his eyes said it all.

"Gutt is…dead?"

Gupta nodded and hung his head.

"No…no…no!" she grabbed her head and sank to her knees. She fought back tears. What was she going to do now? Gupta patted her shoulder. Raz gathered herself quickly. Standing up she slid her hands into her pouch and touched her favorite sword. It was the first one that had been given to her by Gutt.

"Where are the others?" She asked, face hard and emotionless once more.

"Gone."

She gasped.

"No, they all went their separate ways… that's what I'm doing." he gave her a long look.

Raz ran her fingers through her ears. She looked back at Gupta.

"Well, I hope you find everything your looking for."

He smiled as he addressed his best friend. "You to Raz." then he slipped away.

Raz watched her best friend go until the moonlight stopped shining on the white strip on his back as he disappeared over the edge of the hill.

Sighing she clambered up onto a cliff overlooking the sea. She had spent so much time on it… she had forgotten about the way it felt to be on land again. It felt so nice and…safe.

A cool breeze blew, and taking a deep breath, she reached inside her pouch. Scooping the weapons out of her pouch she let them fall into the frothing waters below. Turning to look at the land she now lived on, she sighed happily and smiled. Maybe it wont be so bad, she thought. And with that, she set off to enjoy her new life.
