Being one of the top superheroes in town had its toll on Spider-Man. All the web swinging and super villain fights all around Queens had started to get harder and the masked arachnid needed a break. Some of his enemies thought otherwise.
Spider was crawling through the sewers when he heard the sound of his old enemy, The Lizard. Spidey had been tracking him through the sewer for hours now. That evil menace was not going to be stopped easily. He was getting ready to say some of his puns and quips when a lighting bolt went straight through the sewer.
It came through an open manhole. Anybody with a brain could tell that lightning should not do this. At first our masked hero was thinking that Thor was maybe tracking down the beast for him but his Spidey-Senses told him otherwise. He saw a kid with long dark hair jump down from the manhole that the lightning had come through. He had a sword that looked bronze and he stabbed the lizard beast. Spidey saw the beast battle him and the kid seemed to be getting scratched but it went away almost as fast as it came.
Spidey then started to web up the both of them.
"What was going on here?" He asked the kid with the long dark hair. Up close and still he could see that he had sea green eyes and scratches on his face. The scratches seemed to be going away though.
"How can you see me? And what are you wearing? Is it Halloween -" He was cut off by an agitated hero.
"Listen, I am not so sure as to why you are here or how you just did what you did or how you are healing your wounds already." Our hero is cut off by the vigilante with the sea green eyes now.
"I got to go, ok. Nice to meet you - what is your name again?" said the kid not even trying to be rude.
"Its SpiderMan, or Spidey, whatever you feel." said the hero irritated.
"Ok, see you spider dude. You can call me Percy." They shook hands. They knew that this would not be the first time that they see each other.
"See you around Percy" said Spiderman as he swung out of the manhole.
Percy looked up as the hero swung away to his secret lair. Now all percy had to do was complete this quest, not die and squish a date night with him and Annabeth to make her happy.
