I haven't written a fanfic in a while so i decided to while i have time off school

Chapter 1 - The new consultant
A taxi pulls up outside the ED and a woman steps out
She grabs a small suitcase from the boot and walks throught to the ED and she asks for Zoe Hanna's office
While this woman is walking to Zoes office Tess see's here and recognises her straight away
"Connie Beauchamp" she says to her
"Tess Bateman" Connie replies
"What are you doing here?" Tess questions
"Im here as the new consultant"
"Good for you, I will let you carry on, talk later"
"Sure why not bye"
Connie continues walking to Zoes office and knocks on the clinical leads door
"Come in" Zoe shouts
"Hello, Connie Beauchamp your new consultant"
"Hello Connie we have been expecting you shall we take a tour of the ED"
"Sure why not"
As they toured the ED Dixie and Jeff arrived with a child no more than 7 years old
"Grace Beauchamp 7 years old fell down a flight of stairs at her school, GCS 40 pulse 70 sats at 95%"
"Thanks Dixie" Zoe said
"She's my daughter" Connie informed her new boss
"Ok Connie, is she allergic to anything"
"No nothing that i know of, It's her first day back at that school and they let this happen to a 7 year old"
"Connie im going to have to ask you to wait here while formally assess Grace"
"Ok"
After 2 hours of waiting Zoe finally filled Connie in with what was going on
"Grace is awake now, she is asking for you"
"Is she ok"
"Yes apart from her head injury and sprained ankle she is fine"
"Thank you Zoe"
Connie walked into her daughters hospital room and gave her a hug and a kiss and sat with her to keep her company
"I love you mommy" Grace said giving her mom a hug
"I love you too baby" Connie said back to her daughter
Connie sat with her daughter until she fell asleep
"Night baby" Connie whispered as she watched her daughter fall asleep
I know this is a rather small chapter but I have been writing up other chapters for my other fanfics
