A/N: I died for another year because I was fustrated with my writing and lack of skills. (And also busy with drawing) But I been thinking about this a lot lately and decided to give it another go. English may not be my first language but I should try to learn it and improve it. I rewrote the chapter again for the third time. The previous one has mistakes but I won't make promises that this one is perfect. n please don't kill me.
Transformers does not belong to me.
"We don't understand."
"Don't understand what, human?"
Her easy breathe skipped a rhythm as he turned around sharply with his angry glare. Her skin itched as the glare burned into her and feelings of discomfort blossomed as she forced her arms to sit still on the table. Her reflex screamed at her to do something about the itch, but she thoughtfully told it that this wasn't her first time being in this situation and the itch was nothing.
Using the word human must have been a bad idea.
She jumped as wornout hands slammed onto the metal table with enough force to make it shake. Her reflex screamed lies.
"The reason for all your commitment in all of this." He replied harshly and sharp like dappers, but her attention was on how he was unfazed of the pain he should've felt from the rebound of the force he just released on the surface of the already beaten up table
'Must not be his first time,' The other side of the link mused. 'He is a soldier after all.'
'A soldier made of flesh and nerves that doesn't have off and on switch.' She scoffed.
'Just don't give him more stress than needed. He look... kinda pale' A sad voice giggled nervously.
"It's none of your business." She murmured, looking away. No promises.
The human growled. "It was. It was until what happened back there almost made us loose almost half of our men."
She frowned "So what?"
"So now we need to make sure that this doesn't happen again. Right now your commitment makes you and your sister a criminal and a prisoner. Unless you have proven that you are innocent, you won't be leaving from this place ever again."
Her eyes widened but she kept her head turned away, pretending that she didn't care; pretending that it didn't mattered to her that they were to be imprisoned in matter of a second if she was going to keep her silence. Too bad that wasn't going to happen...
This was pointless and his words were nothing but empty promise. They had a way out of there and they been planning it for months. This room may be small, dark, and damaged, but it was heavily guarded with thick walls with thousands of soldiers on the other side of that door. If she was a human, she would be stuck, but difference between her and other human was that... she wasn't one. But they don't know that.
"Human, you are mistaken." Heavy weight from her stomach rose up to back of her throat. "No one is innocent in this war."
"Then are you-"
"No, we are not innocent but we didn't betrayed you and this faction." Disbelief reflected in his eyes but it changed when golden ones met his. "Because we were never in it in the first place."
He fumed. He felt betrayed. "Did anything meant anything to you during these past few months? We took you in-"
"Stop acting so selfish. You never took us in." She scoffed. "You forced us to live in this base because we knew your secrets which proved to be something we knew from the beginning."
"We were protecting you from them!"
"Correction, you kept us imprisoned here to keep our mouths shut, afraid that we would spread the truth of your stupidity in Mission City."
'Scarlet'
"They are enemies to you too. They could've found you if we weren't there to-"
"Save us?" Her eyes burned deadly white. "You do realize that everyone, no matter faction they are in, are enemies to us. Even the Autobots! Like I said, no one is innocent. Everyone here did awful things that they can't go back to. Why do you think Primus doesn't even give a scrap about his angry little children anymore?!"
'SCARLET'
She winced. The last part was a lie but she felt no regret. She was irritated and angry by this human. How dare he know about this war, how dare he thinks that he and his other humans should be part of it? How dare he think he knows what they feel about everything!
But Primus, sweet sweet Primus. How much pain he had felt when this war started and the tears he had cried when he lost his allspark. How much he had worried and watched every one of his child die. It made her angry; it made them both angry. He didn't deserve such pain but what can he do?
This war can't end without consequences.
"Just because everyone isn't innocent doesn't give you the right to cause death on innocent people."
"They are not dead... yet." She growled.
Rapid thumps of footstep came with pair of hands that grabbed her shirt and pulled her up from the wooden chair. She let her body limp, preparing herself for the punch with her face clear of regrets before the small speaker on the corner of the room boomed out a deep voice.
"ENOUGH."
Scarlet blinked, realizing that her breathing had gone heavy and shaking. She felt her sister pour warmth into her trembling spark to calm her down and it worked, but Scarlet still felt bitter. She didn't admit it but she felt slightly hurt.
'Prime should be thankful that he stopped me in time before I strangled this abomination'
Her sister sadly sighed, 'I'm thankful too... looks like we are never leaving here without good terms.'
She looked at the fuming human in front of her giving her the you'll-you-were-dead look and sighed. Her body dropped like a heavy rag as the hand let go and the backed away, taking in deep breaths to calm himself down.
Maybe leaving wasn't a bad idea... they shouldn't had questioned her in the first place.
"We apologize for the anger we had caused on you, but we can not overlook that you almost caused hundreds of death." That's ironic she mentally laughed, but stopped when she felt her sister go awfully quiet. "We do not wish to harm you and your race but it seems there is some confusion that needs to be cleared."
Oh
"Confusion? No, there is no confusion between me and my sister." She chuckled darkly. "I thought I made it obvious the moment I said human. The only one confused here is you, prime."
Her legs stabbed pins and needles as she made herself stand up after sitting in an uncomfortable position. The pain disappeared after a second as she turned down the annoying sensors of her hologram. Finally.
"Could you be.. a cybertronian?"
It was a different voice but she took it. He probably was too speechless to speak.
"Ding ding ding. Took you almost a year to figure that out. Tell you what, since it took you less time than the cons did, I will answer all of your question." She smirked
"BUT in one condition." She looked directly at the camera, eyes shining dangerously white. Her hands that was clenched into fist let go of the invisible stone and raised to the back of her neck. The human that was interrogating looked at her with curiosity. She didn't had any weapons with her when they got her into the room.
'Don't, I don't want to do this anymore.'
"What is it?" She looked up at the camera at the dark corner and smiled.
'Scarlet please! I was joking about leaving!'
'I'm sorry' "You have to find us first." A press of a switch and her form sizzled and disappeared, leaving a small device to drop on the floor with a echoed clack.
They had run away again.
"You didn't had to come..."
"After this, I don't think they are going to trust me, let alone accept me."
"..."
"What?"
"I'm sorry."
"Me too... and you didn't mean all of that did you?"
"..."
"It's alright. It's ok to make mistakes sometimes, but until next time we see them...
Let's play a little game we know called run and hide."
