Annabeth's POV
I was sitting on my dorm room bed, watching my two best friends, Megan and Jess, talking about what football player had the best abs. I was tuning them out cause I really couldn't care less about what they were saying.
I was too busy thinking about a certain green-eyed boy. If they thought James, the so called most popular and hottest boy in school, who also happened to be the Quarter Back, had great abs, they should see my Seaweed brain's. Though, I didn't tell them that.
"James definitely has the best." Megan said.
" NO! Definitely Kyle. But James is hotter over all." Jess says.
" Guys, shut up! No one could possibly care less!" I screamed annoyed.
" Touché" Megan said.
All of a sudden, the principle said over the loud intercom, " All freshmen, please report to the auditorium immediately."
Since we are all freshmen, we walked down to the auditorium, wondering what this was all about.
When everyone was settled, the principle walked over to the microphone.
" Attention everyone. Since you all did well this semester, you would probably like to see your family and friends. So, tomorrow you can invite your family and friends to come visit for the day. That will be all."
With that she left us all excited, and we went back to our dorm rooms.
" I'm going to invite my parents!" Jess said.
" So will I!" Megan said.
" I guess I will too." I said.
I picked up my phone and dialed my step-moms number. My step-mom and I were finally on good terms.
"Hello?" She answered.
" Hey Helen, It's Annabeth." I said.
" Hello honey, how are you?"
" Yeah, so my school is letting us bring guests tomorrow. Want to come?"
" Oh, I'm so sorry honey. But your father and I have to work tomorrow, so I'm really sorry."
I was upset, but I tried to hide it.
" I guess it's ok. I'm used to it." With that I hanged up.
Percy's POV
I was on the couch, watching pro swimming, when my phone rang. I didn't recognize the caller I.D.
"Hello?" I answered.
" Hi, is this Percy Jackson?" A women's voice said on the other line.
" Yes?" I say a little confused.
" It's Helen, Annabeth's step-mom."
" Oh. Hey Helen. How can I help you?"
" Well, Annabeth is upset I can't visit her at school tomorrow? So I was kind of wondering if you could go instead."
" You want me to go visit Annabeth at school?" I say bewildered.
" Yup, pretty much."
" Sure, I'll be there."
" Thank you Percy. I owe you."
When I hang up the phone, I feel a huge grin forming on my face. I look up to the side and see a picture. It was at camp, and my arm was around Annabeth. We looked happier then ever.
I smile, and think. In less then a day, I can finally see my beautiful goddess again.
