Jack froze to the distance sound of a metal hitting the ground, you'd think he'd be used to hearing that sound by now, but it's Rapture! He finds a wall to squat near, as he does, he has his left hand supporting the barrel of the shotgun ready to shoot. The distance thumping becomes louder accompanied by a little girl singing a tune as she skipped happily in front of the big daddy who was always on watch for the little sister.

Jack watches with curiosity as the little girl with auburn hair skips past with yellow eyes like sunflowers. The little girl stops and tilts her head to the side as she looks at Jack, also with curiosity in her unnatural yellow eyes. Jack freezes remembering where he had seen this once human little girl, the big daddy made a grunting noise, the little sister skips forward. A couple of moments on, she stops with a greedy smile as she sees a splicer, she kneels down on her knees, poising her ADAM gun before jabbing it into the dead splicer. The whole procedure takes a couple of moments, but in those precious moments splicers are more alert and wanting to hurt the little sister.

A couple of splicers bearing aged clothing from the mid 90s pounce onto the big daddy, who swings his drill in attempt to shake off one of the splicers before drilling his drill through the splicer's mask, making obscure cracks on the middle-aged bunny-like mask. Shrieks of fear came from the little sister in rounds; Jack couldn't bear to see this little girl scared. Even if she wasn't a child no-more, there was something oddly familiar about her that sent a pang of pain in Jack's heart. He lifts up his shot-gun and aims for the splicer bugging the big daddy whose helmet was red with anger and shoots. The bullet shot the splicer in the head, Jack, satisfied with his shot, lowers his gun as he watches the big Daddy become friendly again.

Through all the commotion, the little sister had collected enough ADAM and had become tired. The auburn haired-little sister yawn and stretches her arms "I'm ready for dreamtime, Mr B" she informs her big Daddy who grunts picking up the tired little sister and placing her on his back as he took her to the nearest vent.

Once both the little girl and her big, metal Daddy had made some distance between them. Jack stands up and watches the big Daddy turn a corner, "Anna" he murmurs in heavy breathes. Anna had been the little girl he was determined to find every since she went missing from that park. They said she had been kidnapped and most likely killed, they were half right. This was proof; Anna was his little girl who he had read bedtime stories to at night, Anna was the little girl who he had lost under his own watch. Jack's lips curve into a small smile of happiness, he was oblivious as the tears came rolling down his cheeks silently. His little girl was here, here in rapture. The one place she wouldn't be able to leave.

Maybe Jack wasn't much of a father to his daughter, but she had mended his broken heart. All he needed to know was that she was alright, and she was. As long as she was with one of those metal monsters, nothing could touch her. They were as much as a father to her than jack was.
