"Surround the building! Move, Move, Move!"
I assumed position by my partners, pulling out my Berretta. The rest of the squad was here as well. I thought it was a bit overboard sending half the entire police force, but these were the Twins after all. The captain turned on the megaphone.
"All right ladies, come on out! We've got your surrounded! Let's end this without a fight, eh?"
"You don't really think they're gonna give up, do ya?" my partner asked.
I shook my head. There was no way these two would just give up, not with being on our most-wanted list. Everything from shoplifting and arson to grand theft auto and manslaughter, which meant we were dealing with the cold blooded type, at both of them teenagers for Christ's sake. The captain signaled a team to get ready to break down the door. Six men complied, quickly setting themselves up by the entrance. I could barley hear them say "On three. One…two…thre-!"
Suddenly the door flew off its hinges, sending the six men sprawling into the air. The door itself hit one of the cars with enough force to send it tumbling. Two girls stepped out of the doorway, both wearing identical evil smirks.
"F-Fire!"
We all unloaded on them, but the bullets never reached their marks. Instead they hovered in mid-air. One of the girls' smirks grew even wider.
"Down!" I screamed and dropped to the ground. I caught a glimpse of the bullets as they came flying back at us. My partner fell backward, taking one in the head. I looked up in time to see the other one raise her hands just before I was hit by a massive gust of wind. I tumbled backwards until I hit a streetlight, cracking my back. I looked up just in time to see my own squad card flying right at me…
