1. Blue
Blue is his favourite colour. Blue is the colour of the sky he loves looking at, and most importantly, blue is the colour of the eyes of his beautiful troublesome blonde. Blue is the color of the eyes he wants to look at day and night, for Naruto's eyes are the most beautiful shade of blue he had ever seen. So no, his favourite shade of blue is not sky blue. It's Naruto blue.
2. Shadows and Light
Shadows cannot exist without light, just like Shikamaru knew he could not exist without Naruto. Naruto is light, he is hyperactive, blonde and impulsive, but he is someone Shikamaru would follow till the end of time. Naruto lights the way with his words and beliefs and Shikamaru will gladly follow. Shika and Naru, dark and light. Forever and ever.
3. Shogi
Shikamaru knows Naruto will probably never be a good opponent in Shogi. He is too full of energy to sit still for long periods of time. Perhaps, one day in the distant future, when their muscles finally give in to the fatigue and strain after years of serving as a shinobi, they could sit down and play a good game of Shogi, but not in the near future perhaps.
4. Dreamer
Shikamaru spends his days dreaming. He spends his time imagining how nice it would be to be a cloud, free from all the worries, and sometimes Naruto would indulge him, lying with him on the open field looking at the clouds floating by. These times were rare. Naruto always had his Hokage duties to fulfill. With Naruto around, Shikamaru never really has time to daydream, because Naruto would always reach over and pull Shikamaru into a kiss. At times like this Shikamaru thinks that there is nowhere he would rather be.
5. Family
Naruto had said he wanted a big family, because he was always alone growing up. Shikamaru knows he can never give Naruto the big family he wants, so as they lie in their shared bed, he asks Naruto to leave him. He tells Naruto that he should find a girl and get married instead of staying with him. Shikamaru was never a crybaby, but his eyes sting and his vision is blurry as he says this. Naruto gathers Shikamaru in his arms, he lets Shikamaru bury his face in his chest and whispers to him in the dark of the night that Shikamaru is the only family he needs.
Well, you see, like sometimes I get bored, and ShikaNaru is one of my fave ships, so here's a 100 drabbles, 5 per chapter, hope they are good. Not edited yet though, and a bit messed up, but pardon me, I just type whatever comes into my mind.
