Heather was unlike every other person she knew. For she was neither woman or man. She was genderqueer, and she took that fact all to its advantage. She still used the she/her pronouns though. It was easier that way.
During daytime at work people usually knew her as Heather. She didn't look any different from any other woman and could easily pass as one.
It was in the evenings when Heather dressed up as Michael Jackson during her stage act, her other side came on display. With the right amount of make up, she could easily imitate the deceased pop star.
Her act included dancing and singing. Heather had a good singing voice she had been blessed with since birth. It was the dancing that she found the most challenging and thus the most daring.
One night, Heather had just preformed her act when she ran into a girl.
"Sorry!" the girl squeaked.
Heather smiled at her. "No problem."
The girl blushed and smiled back.
Heather felt something in her heart thunder. She had dated both men and women alike but this was the first time she felt taken aback by someone.
Little did Heather know she had just met her future wife.
Heather is non-binary gender identifying and bisexual. She was born gender-fluid and can choose to be whoever she wants to be.
Astrid is a cis-gendered female and pansexual. She used to be in a heteronormative relationship but now finds herself in love with someone like Heather.
This is a heathstrid love story. Leave a review to let me to know what you think so far!
