A/N: I own nothing. I thank everyone who put up the video of "We Are So Sorry Uncle Earl." They all rock and have made me happy with the Loliver scenes. Hooray.

The only spoiler there is in this story is the first 3 lines.

Lola slapped her cheek, "Ow, my tooth."

Mike followed suit, "Mine too. It hurts."

Lola and Mike continued to mumble as they left the awkward scene between Hannah, Jackson (a.k.a. Ozzy Osbourne), and Uncle Earl. They decided to go to a deserted hallway and wait for things to get settled between the Stewarts.

"That was a close one," Mike said.

"Yeah, hopefully things will work out though. Uncle Earl doesn't seem like that bad of a guy," Lola said.

Mike chuckled, "Considering the look on your face when he first came into Miley's home. Priceless."

The current red head punched the wannabe rapper's arm, "Hey, after all those stories we hear from Mr. Stewart and Miley, of course I was a little scared to meet him."

"Well, no need to worry because you've got me to protect you from scary Stewart family members," Mike said proudly.

Lola rolled her eyes, "Aww, my knight in shining armor. Or in this case – knight in slightly over-sized clothing."

The brunette lightly pushed her with his shoulder, "You did dress me."

She turned to look at him and smiled at their silly antics. Their eyes locked for a few seconds until a noise interrupted the pair. A light blush made its way to their cheeks as they faced away from each other. An awkward silence followed as they did their best to avoid each other's eyes.

Mike broke the silence, "You know, as much as I love hanging out with Miley as a trio, it's kinda nice having some time with just the two of us."

Lola agreed, "It is."

She heard the crowd clapping and the music starting. By the sounds of things, Hannah was on stage.

Mike got up, "We should probably get back."

He offered his hand to his best friend.

"Thanks," she said after getting up.

Mike and Lola made their way back still holding hands. The two noticed their action before entering the door and let go. He opened the door for her. Before Lola made her way backstage, she looked over her shoulder. The two locked eyes and smiled.

A/N: I know this was a bit short but I tried to make it seem realistic with the time spent between Hannah and Uncle Earl. Hopefully it was good.
