Prologue
The Nightmare
The moon was out in the nighttime sky. The bright light from the stars appeared and shinned brightly around it in the dark around the moon; and the moonlight shinned and caused the sky brightens up through the nighttime clouds. It was enough to make the wolves step out of their homes and howl at the moon, and for the bats and vampires to fly around night. But everything else was silent.
All accept for one person.
Sibella was out walking around in the dark woods alone. She used the bright light from the moon as guidance as she walked around in the night as she made her way in the woods. The weird thing was that she didn't even remember going out into the woods nor did she remember why she went out into the woods.
It wasn't long before Sibella heard something. She turned around to see if she was able to find out what it was that caused the noise. But she saw nothing at all.
Sibella looked around when the noise played up again, but she wasn't able to find out what it was, although she knew where it was coming. She quickly changed into a bat, flapped her wings franticly and moved out of the way. She quickly moved as the noise got closer and closer, and she moved as fast she could before it caught up to her.
Sibella came to a dead end, and there was nowhere for her to fly off. She turned to look behind her when she heard the noise getting closer and continued to find someway to get away before she got caught.
But it was too late.
The noise maker appeared behind her, and it was one of Revolta's spider bats she sent after her and her friends a few months back. Two of them appeared, and the both of them attacked Sibella. Sibella tried to break free from their grip on her wings, but there's no luck. They flew away with her and were taking her to Revolta's castle and managed to keep from getting away from them before they got there. Sibella cried for help, but there was no one around to save her.
"Help!" Sibella continued to call out as she continued to break free of the two evil spider bats.
"!
Sibella woke up to the sound of a familiar male voice calling her name.
"Sibella, wake up." The male voice said to her.
Sibella woke up to see her father Dracula and her mother Carla both standing right on the side of her bed. She was relief to see them there to wake her up when they noticed there was something wrong. Sibella also felt good to know she was safe in bed instead of being captured by evil spider bats. She was in bed wearing a pink tank-top with and a pair of black pajama pants; her hair was tied into a low ponytail.
"Are you alright, sweetie?" Carla asked. "We heard you screaming in your sleep." She explained to her.
"Yeah, I just had a nightmare, that's all." Sibella explained to them as she laid her head back down on her pillow. She had briefly explained to them what happened to her in her nightmare.
Dracula and Carla were frighten to hear that something like that had happened but they were glad that their daughter was safe in bed as well.
"Well, get some rest, you have to leave in a few hours to get to Miss Grimwood's school." Dracula said to her.
Dracula and Carla walked out of the room and closed the door behind them.
Sibella checked the time on her cell phone and saw that it was 3:45am. She had a Samsung Showcase with all of her alarms set. She decided to go back to sleep knowing it was going to be fine.
