Chuck looked at the sun shining, it was a perfect eighty-one degrees in the north Chicago suburb where Ellie and Devon made their home. Inhaling the fresh scent of leaves, summer and of course good barbeque, Chuck grinned happily. His three kids Stephen, William and Charlotte were playing with Clara and her twin siblings Emmett and Diana. while the adults talked about various things like politics, the weather and their everyday lives. Casey was at the helm grilling hotdogs, burgers, corn and lamp chops.
''You okay Chuck?'' asked his wife Sarah. After what happened five years ago, he could hardly still believe they were here and happy together.
''Everything is perfect.'' he grinned wrapping an arm around her shoulders, their lips meeting.
