Now, On to the story!
Max's POV Hi, I'm Max Ride, age 14, and am incredibley sick. I have a huge head ache, my nose is stuffed up, to sum it all up, I feel like I'm on my period times 50. I've been in so much pain, I cried a couple times.
To keep the Flock from worrying or from getting the hell I have, I sent them to stay with my mom, but Fang WOULD NOT hear it.
(A/N: They have there own house, because Max thought that living with her mom would put her in danger.)
He sent them to mom's, but stayed home with me.
Oh well. If he's gonna stay, he'll work.
"FANG!" I yelled.
In seconds, Fang was at my side, eyes glistening with worry.
"What is it, Max?" Fang asked, kneeling down beside my bed.
"I'm cold." I said, shivering.
"Want me to get the electric blanket?" Fang asked, his eyes showing just how worried he truly was.
"Mhm."
Fang returned a few minutes later with the blanket in hand. Fang plugged the blanket in and draiped it over me.
"Thank you, Fangles." I said, sweetly.
"Anything for you, Max." Fang said, kneeling back down beside my bed.
"You need anything else?" Fang asked after a moment of silence.
I thought for a moment.
"Put on my favorite song?" I asked, politely.
"On it." He said, walking over to my laptop.
"There." Fang said, sitting down on the bed with me.
"I'm a dead man walking here That's the least of all my fears Ooh underneath the water
It's not Alabama clay Gives my trembling hands away Ooh Please forgive me father
Ain't going back to Barton Hollow Devil gonna follow me e'er I go Won't do me no good washing in the river Can't no preacher man save my soul
Did that full moon force my hand?
Or that unmarked hundred grand?
Ooh underneath the water Ooh Please forgive me father
Miles and miles in my bare feet Still can't lay me down to sleep If I die before I wake I know the Lord my soul won't take, Ooh
I'm a dead man walking I'm a dead man walking here Find More lyrics at .com
Keep walking and running and running for miles Keep walking and running and running for miles Keep walking and running and running for miles, Woahh
Ain't going back to Barton Hollow Devil gonna follow me e'er I go Won't do me no good washing in the river Can't no preacher man save my soul"
Fang's POV
Max had fallen asleep against my chest half way through the song.
I decided not to wake her, so I stayed with her.
" Sweet dreams, Max. I love you."
"I love you too, Fang."
