Screams erupted from the back of her throat and his slashed her arm again and again. She had tried to fight him but he had her hands tied so she couldn't hold him off. She knew she was going to die. She just wished she could've told him she loved him before this. She didn't have the courage. She never had a good history with relationships. Her first boyfriend got killed in the line of duty. The one she really did love. That stuck with her forever, now she's afraid to ever date a co-worker again.
The man chuckles as he shoves her back to the ground.
"You should've known I was out there. NCIS isn't as smart as Boone gives them credit for. Are they?" He stops to laugh. "Stupid little NCIS. Boone was stupid to play that game with them. I knew he should've picked the FBI. AHHH!" He lunged the knife towards her side, but she was quick enough so it didn't stab her, it just nicked her flesh.
He smirks and kneels down next to her.
"You know, you're probably the prettiest woman I've ever laid hands on. It's a shame I have to kill you." He runs his hand to her neck down to the middle of her breasts. She squirms under his touch, and not in a good way. She feels like throwing up and stabbing this man.
He traces her black lacy bra over her breasts and enjoys it immensely. She stiffens to the point of pain.
"Get away from me you sick bastard." His smile grows larger as he lowers the knife down the her stomach. He digs the tip in just enough so she just barely begins to bleed. He licks the bloody tip of the knife as he stands up. He licks his lips and then growls.
"Get up. Fighter." She breathes heavily and doesn't move.
"GET UP!" He kicks her in the ribs and she grunts. She sits up and uses her legs to get into a crouching/defensive position. He fakes as is he was going to lung towards her. She reacts by jumping back. He chuckles and moves towards her slowly.
This was some sick game to him, playing with his victims before torturing and murdering them. While she was taking her thought the guy seized the moment to lash out and struck her in the head with the hilt of his knife.
She sank to the ground after a scream of pain and shock. Everything was blurry, she could barely see him walk towards her, but she did feel his foot step on her forearm. She didn't have the strength to react, but she knew it'd leave a bruise.
"NCIS! PUT THE WEAPON DOWN! STEP AWAY FROM THE WOMAN!"
She recognizes that voice. Gibbs is here, did that mean he was here also?
"Tony?" She whispers. "Tony?"
"Shh... I'm here." He responds quietly.
"You better not be staring at my boobs." She whispers with a smile hinting on her face.
He laughs softly and unties her hands.
"Normally you know I totally would, but under the circumstances... I can wait." He helps her up and she leans onto him. He takes off his coat and puts it on her, covering up her torn shirt and bloody bra.
"Let's go get you patched up." Dinozzo kisses her hair and leads her to the awaiting ambulance. She smiles at the contact and lets herself be seated. Dinozzo stays with her through the whole process.
When they're done she decides she just wants to sleep. So Dinozzo, being a gentlemen, offers her a car ride home.
"Thanks Tony." She leans her head back into the leather seat without realizing she's falling asleep.
"No problem."
Before she knew it she was back in her own bed watching Tony trying to be quiet while walking away from her so he wouldn't wake her up.
"Don't leave me." She whispered. Tony turned back around, barely realizing she had spoken.
"Please?" Tony stares at her for a moment before relenting and going under the covers with her.
"Your lucky I like you." Tony whispers in Paula's ear.
"I know."
And there begins a beautiful relationship.
