That was it. All of it… it was all just… over. I know this seems stupid but ever since the band broke up I've been sad lately… But I all need is a leap of faith. I need hope in my future. Although it seems ridiculous. Noodle passed away and the band… it's like they passed away with her. Ever since that I've been living in New York and have been going to this coffee shop everyday. I didn't really need a job, I already had a lot of money from all the bands' albums and music. Where am I right now? I'm sitting in the coffee shop right now having my regular plain black coffee with sugar. Usually it's busy in the coffee shop and everyday it's the same people working here. Right now I'm just drinking my coffee when I see a new worker. He seems like he's not usually outside a lot. He's tall, slim, a tan yet pale skin color, light blonde hair, and these shades that don't let you see his eyes at all. At first I thought to just keep sitting quietly, but since he's new then why not just greet him, right?

I begin to walk towards the blonde male when I suddenly feel a yank of my shirt and it chokes me a little, having the hem of my shirt pushing against my throat. I let out a small yelp but no one seems to notice. I turn around to see him. My enemy, my bully, my nightmare. It was Murdoc and he didn't seem to happy. He never did and he looked more angry today. We were in public and he was going to beat me? I wouldn't doubt it, he always does this when he remembers Noodle. I flinch as he starts pulling me out of the door of the shop into a dark and cold alley. I watched as he raised his fist and shut my eyes tightly waiting for the force of his fist to hit my face. It didn't. Why not?… I then became confused and opened my eyes to see the new worker, the blonde one slightly pushing Murdoc away from me and I could hear him saying, "Yo that's not cool man." I could see Murdoc get even more angry and I tensed up a little as Murdoc began to attempt hitting the blonde man. The blonde man moved quickly and said, "Stop." Murdoc grumbled and I could see that he saw the blonde man was willing to win this "fight". Murdoc simply grumbled and cursed while he walked away. I got up shakily and dusted myself off and gave a missing toothed smile to the blonde man and said, "Thanks mate." He nodded and said with no emotion, "I'm Dave." I nodded and greeted him, "I'm 2-D, and thanks for your help too." Dave simply nodded and said, "Well I gotta get back to work before anyone notices I'm gone. See you later." I nodded and waved goodbye as he left back to the coffee shop. I sighed, "Well, that was embarrassing but hey… Dave was kind of cute.
