Instead of posting all of these as separate chapters like I had originally planned, I just decided to post it all as a one shot. Kinda.

How did it come to this? Doctor Angela Ziegler was found dead in her office early this morning by a young Hana Song. It was revealed that the doctor had shot herself sometime the previous night. Her note read talked about how stressed she was about not only her medical profession, but her interpersonal problems that prevented her from proper rest and nurishment. At eight fifteen a.m., Doctor Angela Ziegler was pronounced officially dead.

The funeral was short. All current members of Overwatch were present during the service, but all left to attend to their duties immidiately afterwards. One figure was still found by the tombstone. The very same young meka pilot who found the body was the one sat crying in front of the grave.
/
It felt like days since any of the Overwatch members had seen Hana. When she wasn't in her room bawling, she was sat silently by Angela's grave. The others knew that she needed her time to grieve, but they believed that she needed to focus and get back to her duties. Jack was the first to confront Hana. Suffice to say, it ended with her slapping him before angrily storming away.

Nobody knew of Korea's state. None but Hana knew that Korea had been completely devastated by the omnic. Her entire family had died, all of her previous squad had either died or gone completely M.I.A. It hadn't even been a day later when Angela had killed herself. Hana and Angela had formed a strong mother/daughter relationship, so to have two devastating tragedies happen so close to one another, it would be no surprise to find out why Hana was so frazzled. Nobody expected her to just run away. Nobody even though she could run away, let alone just drop off the grid entirely.

She had been in hiding, relatively, for the last nine months. Her home country was destroyed, all her family were either dead or wanted nothing to do with her for-in their words-"abandoning" their home and letting it become a contry wide graveyard, and the woman whom she claimed to be more a mother than her actual mother was dead...Hana had made a name for herself in what remained of the Australian outback as a meka combatant. Everything was finally starting to get easier; normal even, if you so wish. But all her newly found happiness soon abandoned her when after a match against a meka fighting veteran, she saw an all too familiar face.

The hacker had found her. She had left Talon once she had gathered all the information that working with them would gain her. Her presence in the Junkertown was kept fairly hidden, but it had a small part in informing Hana that someone was looking to kill her. Sombra gave her the information about her potential death for a place to lay low. Hana didn't really trust the hacker, but she wasn't obliged to turn her in either. Reluctantly, she agreed to help her.
/
Sombra had stayed with Hana for quite a time doing her research into only God knows what. Hana had found out that the death threat had come from one of her opponents after she had absolutely humiliated them during their fight. It didn't take much for Hana to put them in their place. Hana had grown to appreciate another soul living with her, but just like every good thing in her life, Sombra had disappeared without a word. The only clue that she had even lived there was one of her translocators hidden behind Hana's makeshift couch. Hana had hoped that she would return, but that had been four years now.

Her eyes were blinking rapidly. Heartbeat near non-existent. Breathing unpredictable. Hana had gotten herself in far too deep. She wanted to forget everything. She wanted to forget her friends in her old squad, she wanted to forget everyone in Overwatch, she wanted to forget her heartache from Angela's death, she wanted to forget Sombra-even with how short their time was together. She just wanted to forget. So she got herself involved with the more ,'illegal', fighting. Little did she know that every fight she was in was rigged against her. She lost her last fight and owed a lot of money. Money that even Mako and Jamie couldn't help her aquire. While on a heist, she had been shot by an unknown sniper. Now she lay in Mako's arms coughing up more and more blood while Jamie spammed a barrage at the security. They knew that she wouldn't make it. They all knew. So, Hana struggled to tell them to escape, that she would fight until her very last breath. Without another word they agreed and Hana fought until and omnic gaurd shot her between her eyes. Tears escaped as her memories came flooding in. All the good, all the bad, every insignificant thing. It all ended on one last memory of Angela holding her on her first night at Overwatch. Even before she hit the ground, Hana " " Song was no longer alive.
